| Nice try. Samples sound jazzy, probably due to the fact that the large scale structure is missing. However, short sequences sound familiar. The problem is that it seems that the musical line is going nowhere. If I try to image human composer behind the music, I would guess that the person would be completely diffuse :-) | |

| Thanks for your feedback Ben. What you say is correct, we will see what I do, one day when I get twice as much time as I have now :) Anyway, I hope I can find a solution for the online idea, without making it too restrictive with regards to machines, situations, etc. | |

| Hello, Nice music examples. I Hope we'll get a chance to test the program ourself one day ;-) (I subscribed to the newslist at least.) I'm not too sure going the online route is a good choice. I know several cases when doing so has given bad results. With the coming of small/cheap PC (eee for instance), it would be great to have such an application in standalone form to be used for relaxation, waking up,...) without a need for an internet connexion or some java machine. Just my thinking, I'll respect your choice. | |

| Hi Reuben, sorry for late reply. The plans for this project have changed. I will probably not release the program as a stand alone application, but rather as an online web application. I have done some preliminary tests, but I think the whole thing will take time, as there are many other things that I am engaged in and this project is more of a hobby project. | |

| "CIAO JULA!"(TRIBUTO A JULA DE PALMA) L'OMAGGIO A JULA DE PALMA DI ALESSANDRO MAUGERI di Paola Grey Ancora una volta mi ritrovo a recensire lo stesso spettacolo ma in veste sempre diversa come ormai un eclettico artista come Alessandro Maugeri ci ha abituati.Straordinario performer,polistrumentista e ricercatore dal palato raffinatissimo,con un background piu' che ventennale di televisione ma soprattutto di spettacolo in tutti i sensi ha raccolto solo consensi per il suo live-act al Soul Market di Livorno,locale interessante e di nicchia che con questo concerto inaugura una nuova stagione di eventi.Alessandro Maugeri si e' presentato con un nuovo gruppo di sette elementi preparatissimi e provenienti dal jazz per quanto gli arrangiamenti avessero poco da vedere con il genere specialmente nell'impostazione vocale,molto tecnica e notturna,calda e poco cool.Il prossimo appuntamento il 13 di maggio con un nuovo tributo a sorpresa mentre ci attendiamo un tour del "CIAO JULA".A presto Alessandro Maugeri. | Well, that's very inspiring to hear Marcus! Actually, many, including myself, have found this music to induce a calm atmosphere. It is the only music I can lay down and fall asleep to :) And, yes, the background :) This site started up as a temporary thing. I had actually made a more professional one, but then I wanted to wait with that one, and I made this one for the meantime. But I guess I should fix it a bit to make it look better. | |

| By some reason, your program makes me indescribably happy. :) I really like the idea, it gives me hope for the future of computer-music. I think you should try to develop it into a product, I know i'd buy it, just for the sake of it! :) Just one thing, the background-colour of this website is horrible. But, you can't have everything! ;) Good luck in the future, i'll be checking in once in a while! | |
